We are two stay-at-home moms with seven kids between us. We are not fancy or complicated. We love our families, our friends and the lives that we lead. We are continuously trying to better ourselves and the world we live in, and we believe that actions speak louder than words. With the growing concern about our environment and the knowledge that our actions today directly affect the outcome of tomorrow, we knew that we needed to make a change. The obvious change we knew that we could make was to switch from using paper or plastic bags to using reusable shopping bags. In doing so, we would help save millions of trees and we would help reduce mounds of litter, in turn preserving the earth’s natural resources. The only problem was that we couldn’t find a bag that was durable, the right size and that wasn’t incredibly ugly. Not to mention, we always felt bad bringing a reusable bag with the name of one store printed on it into a different store. Thus came the idea - reusable shopping totes that are eco-friendly AND stylish. So with over 20 years of friendship, a dedication to our families and a passion to make a difference, Glamorously Green came to fruition.
